Same as Grade A with exceptions
of:
Minor cuts and chips (but no exposed steel in the
tread area to avoid rust developing). Small
percentage of tires may have maximum of two nail
holes in tread area only. Must be 1 1/2 inches in
from the tread edge with maximum diameter of 3/8
inch
Grade
R-1, Radial Casings
Previously retreaded once in
full or top tread or bead to bead Maximum two nail
holes in tread area only. Must be 1 1/2 inches in
from tread All other conditions are same as Grade
A
Nylon
(Bias) Casings
For Nylon casings, no more than
two (2) nail holes in tread area for "A"
casings. Maximum of four (4) nail holes in tread
area but not grouped together for "B"
casings. All other conditions are save as Radial
casings requirements.

Warranty / Adjustment Procedure
Although very few rejects (less
than 0.5%) has been reported, we will replace
rejects in excess of 3% in our next shipment or
wire the fund to your factory if no further order
is scheduled.
